Life is treating me pretty good these days. Honestly, I don’t have a lot to do, but just enough to keep me busy most of the time. I’m doing more reading these days. Trying do actually do something during OG. I guess I’m worried that CCT is coming up again. Well, it’s not going to be a very difficult CCT, but I still don’t want to leave everything till the last minute or by luck. Even though it’s been more than half the block, I still feel that I know nothing about OG. Seriously, there’s so many things that I don’t know. Seems that there’s quite a bit of work here, but then there’s just no mood for it. Or it’s actually more like we’ve had shit all for OG before these 8 weeks, how are we suppose to know everything after just 8 weeks? Can the entire OG be taught in 8 weeks. Worst yet, there’s hardly any teaching. There are some, but just not enough. Today, I had nothing except sitting in an antenatal clinic with the houseman. That’s it only the two of us. Did nothing except see like 10+ cases in 90 minutes. That was pretty much it. Pretty much on our own during the entire block. I can understand if during medicine there’s not much teaching since for the past 3.5 years, we were being trained in medicine, but OG? I mean they know that we know nothing!
Anyway, I’m also planning to do a bit of reading into pediatrics too. Going to be pretty difficult in pediatrics. Don’t want the next block to be like this one…
