Just got home. There’s only one way home. I had to go through Repulse Bay road to get home, and tonight one of the water supply pipes bursted. Normally, it shouldn’t be much of a problem, but this time, it might actually be a big problem. They might have to close off the whole segment of Repulse Bay road to do the repair. The thing is they’re already doing some slope work on the same segment of Repulse Bay road, and have closed off one of the two lanes. The burst water pipe is just under the remaining open lane. If they’re going to fix the pipe, they’ll have to close off the other lane as well, meaning no traffic can get through… Lucky I got home already… Now the real problem… Will I have water supply tomorrow morning?
[Update]: They’ve been pretty good at it. They managed to fix the whole thing over night. Which meant that traffic was ok in the morning, and also there was no interruption to the water supply!
