Page One

For de-stressing I decided that I was going to visit the new Page One at Time Square (TS) CWB. I use to go there a lot when they had their store in the basement, but haven’t been to the new shop on the 9th floor of TS. Back when they were in the basement, their store was relatively big. There was a left store and also a right store. I love going there, browsing through all the magazines and all the books. I was hoping to get a mag today just to read during my resting hours. Anyway, I got up to the 9th floor, my first impression was the store looks pretty cool. It looks kind of like a glass enclosure in the middle, so you can see right into it. Anyway, immediately, my second thought was it’s small. It’s way smaller than the old store. In fact I like the old store much better. There were more books and more room for people to walk. In the new store, it’s already so small, and they try to cram in all these books. There weren’t enough space for people to move around. I didn’t feel comfortable inside the store. I have an impression that they’re carrying a lot less books as well. I looked for two titles, both of which they don’t carry. I’m not looking for like very rare items. I’m looking for pretty common stuff like the magazine Wired. Anyway, I was very disappointed that I couldn’t get anything there. I was suppose to get something to relax, so at the end, it was starbucks to the rescue again. Coffee’s always nice. In fact, that was my second cup already… But it was still good.

Now back to the studying business. Little more than two weeks left. In 4 weeks time, we’ll have finished the written examination part, and be starting the clinical assessment. Then it’ll all be over! Can’t wait!
