I’ve also changed the address of this blog from www.moliu.org to blog.moliu.org…. I’ve forwarded www.moliu.org to blog.moliu.org so even if you head to the old site, you’ll end up at the new address.
Migration
My MT site loads a lot slower than the WP site even though WP is on dynamic build.WP has post by email built-in where as with MT I had to install a plugin called MEOW…. The thing is I’m only going to be posting by email through my BlackBerry, and the BlackBerry doesn’t seem to add line breaks to the email, so the problem disappeared.I’ll probably have more to add later as I learn more about it…
Redesign?
I finally decided to try out del.icio.us to share some bookmarks with everyone. While I was doing that, I found that my previous 2 column layout was a little bit too small to display everything. You would need to scroll down a long way before you would actually see the links.
RSS/Atom Newsreader
Basically what happens is I fire up my newsreader, and it will search within my subscription for any updates, and then show me all the titles…. Anyway, because all the programs that I’m using are all Mac based, I haven’t been able to really tell you how cool all this is because you really got to try it out yourself…. It might not look as good as mine, but it gets the job done and it’s free for the windows platform.
